As the digital world changes and new technologies arise, kids eagerly grasp on to the latest tool or web application with no fear or hesitation. During this workshop we'll explore the safe use of the Internet and digital technologies, i.e. computers, cell phones, mp3 players, etc. We'll also discuss social networking, cyberbullying, digital citizenship (the rights and responsibilities in a digital world) as well as related online curriculum.

Brain Injury Awareness Month - March - Graci Gillming

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. As guidance counselors, you will be receiving or have already received a mailing including posters created to increase awareness about the causes and consequences of brain injury. The posters are also intended to increase awareness about the support that is available through the Central Region Brain Injury School Support Team (BIRSST).

You are asked to post the information, and possibly also share the information with your school nurse or special education staff. If there is any reason to contact the school support team, feel free to do so.
